Dentures

Many people who wear full or partial dentures are often dissatisfied because of the poor fit, unpleasant odours and inferior aesthetics of their dentures. A set of attractive, quality dentures skilfully crafted to your mouth will make a positive impact on your lifestyle.

Not all dentures are fabricated using the same materials or technique. The acrylic used for the pink tissue portion of a denture will shrink when it is processed and can cause inaccuracies in the fit of the denture to your mouth. This shrinkage can cause sore spots and movement during eating and speaking.

We use state-of-the-art injection molding which compensates for the shrinkage of the denture base material during processing. The accuracy of this process results in a denture that will provide you with the best fit possible so you can eat, talk and smile with confidence.

The materials that denture teeth are fabricated from are also important. We usually use Ivoclar Vivadent teeth which are made from high quality acrylics that resist excessive wear, stains, chips, and breakage. This quality material will maintain the natural shape of the teeth so that proper cutting and chewing of desired foods can be maintained.

Our dentures are designed for:

  • Aesthetics
Gum tinting is used in the acrylic for a more natural looking denture so you can smile, speak and laugh with confidence

  • Bio-Compatibility
Will not distort taste, stain, or collect odours or irritating bacteria

  • Cleanliness
Non-porous surface greatly lessens odorous plaque and bacteria

  • Comfort
    Reduced irritation

  • Fit
Non-irritating and comfortable to wear – no denture adhesive needed

  • Strength
Extremely dense material reduces the chance of breakage

What you should expect

  • Premium quality dentures that instill confidence, and provide comfort and support

  • Precision dentures that provide optimum function whilst eating, speaking or laughing

  • Natural life-like dentures that recreate the character of your smile

If you have been missing teeth for a very long time, the bone that held your teeth will have reduced in size. This may make it difficult or impossible for a denture to fit you comfortably. In these cases we have a variety of implant solutions that can help stabilize your dentures. If you are experiencing an ill-fitting denture, please discuss this with one of our experienced dentists and they will let you know your implant options.
